Qualls said petersen was happy with how the team played but was disappointed they gave up 6 points and was nitpicking the things they did wrong in the locker room after the game.

Nitpicking the little things is what winners do, because little things sometimes win or lose games for you. Like missing a fucking extra point, or dropping a wide open TD pass. Great game - no need to pretend it couldn't have been better. -

I counted at least 5 missed tackles on 3rd/4th down plays on Stanford's only scoring drive. Clean that up just 20% better and they pitch the full shutout, rather easily.

Back in the dark days, doogs always claimed opponents weren't being CLASSY when they had a huge lead and ran basic run plays with their 3rd string and we? still couldn't stop them.
Last night it felt good to see the backups finish inserting the end of the plunger handle. -
