There's no drama and nothing to be learned until the Stanford game in week five.

Looks like we won't see any big changes in non-conference scheduling until at least 2022:

    Future Football Schedules

I look forward to the Michigan game in 2020. However, if our program is still in shambles, the stands will be nothing but blue and maize.

We? played Idaho to open the 2000 season. We? were ranked14th and had Rose Bowl hype. Probably were the highest ranked Pac-10 team. I was there... I remember Idaho scoring an early TD and I thought TSIO. But then we killed them for a while before the backups came in and Idaho scored a bit more. 44-20 is what the internet says was the final score.

The internet also says the attendance that day was 70,117. A week later against the U it was 74,157.

Absolutely positively amazing what the Athletic Department and University allowed to happen to the football program.

Outside of my Willingham book, which made a limited impact at best, Emmert was never held accountable by anyone for bringing Willingham back for the 0-12 season. That season is what put us on a fast track for the shitty crowds of today.
The hiring of Willingham was the biggest problem, but still.
    Agreed.

    We? really did deserve @Owen12.

No doubt. With that hire, the program rolled over and accepted perpetual mediocrity or worse. Hiring that fuck stick also split the fanbase, at least until the Owen12 season.
