Gaskin deserve a medal for making that into a positive play. He's a stud.

I said this last night....they were bringing at least 5 every play.
That was horrific though -
Only bad when all 5 of them go unblockedHuskyJW said:I said this last night....they were bringing at least 5 every play.

Shelton could've been flagged for a block in the back and Ross whiffed on the Safety. Gaskin is great. Ross makes that block and Gasking gains 5 despite all that.
-
And he was holding prior to the "block" ... penalty abundance. Terrible execution by the O-Line on this play, they all whiffed. Gaskin definitely bailed them out, as did some blind zebras.AEB said:Shelton could've been flagged for a block in the back and Ross whiffed on the Safety. Gaskin is great. No block in the back, he maintains contact as the LB turns. Ross cut the safety ok, problem is Gaskin is held up too long.AEB said:Shelton could've been flagged for a block in the back and Ross whiffed on the Safety. Gaskin is great. Ross makes that block and Gasking gains 5 despite all that.
Who is supposed to block the corner?
-
Jaydon Mickens couldn't explain that block/miss ratio.
-
Either a CB blitz or they knew it was a run pre snap.
-
That looks like they read that play, or made a hell of a call. Gaskin is a machine to anything out of that.
-
You're right, except it looks like he grabbed the defenders arm and maybe a piece of his jersey while "maintaining" contact.GrundleStiltzkin said:

that was my expert anal-ysis.Gladstone said:they knew it was a run pre snap.

Maybe some coach fag will correct me but I believe Ross is supposed to block the CB if he is pressed up and let the center pull around and block the OLB play side...GrundleStiltzkin said:

If the CB is back then Ross is supposed to come across the formation and "crack" block either the up-safety or OLB chasing on the the play side.

Sounds like @GrandpaSankey has a real career opportunity in the Pac-12. -
Brostek is absolutely worthless. McGary has tools, but is a dumb country hick.

Designed Weak-side corner crash all the way. DL slant wide side of the field.Gladstone said:Either a CB blitz or they knew it was a run pre snap.
Adjustment: Ross go route, leaves him 1-1 with safety. Weakside counter run, Gaskin isolated against WIL who has pass read and contain responsibilities (see Gif) -
Bern should go home and punch his Momma in the mouth.RoadDawg55 said:Brostek is absolutely worthless. McGary has tools, but is a dumb country hick.

After each play, Tedford should quickly analyze and send down adjustments. Is it happening? Is Smith calling the plays accordingly?Gladstone said:

If you need Tedford to second guess every play, you have the wrong head coach.Baseman said:

The CB coming off the edge is one thing, but the penetration by rutgers' front four is embarrassing.

Why do you hate push up the middle and heat from the edge?Passion said:The CB coming off the edge is one thing, but the penetration by rutgers' front four is embarrassing.

I had never seen four turnstiles on one play. Now I have. Another pathetic football bucket list item checked off by UW Football.Passion said:The CB coming off the edge is one thing, but the penetration by rutgers' front four is embarrassing.

That is why this "top ten ranking" is beyond stupid.Swaye said:

How about these questions:
- How important is the offensive line to a football team?
- Of all the top ten teams in the recent AP poll, which has the worst O-line?
- Based on your answer to the first 2 questions, should UW be ranked in the top ten? -
Can everyone just shut the fuck up about Tedford?

I applied, couldn't get a shot. They told me I was overqualified.Sources said:Southerndawg said:
