Some people play well when the pressure's on and are known for it... and some people play like Brownsocks - who has fucked us in key situations in every game he's played in his career.RaceBannon said:Jake Browning is going to break our hearts when the hand clapping pussy throws up all over himself against Arizona and Stanford and the season comes to another early end.
Deondre Francois needed a half against an SEC! SEC! SEC! team to stop playing like a pussy in key spots and start hitting big shit at big times. Literally Jake's 1 big improviso play came against Utah States (YEAH BITCHES!!!).
His only other decent crunch time play last year was v. USC and he only had 1 option on that play. -

It wouldn't surprise me if Jake and the boys win in the desert, only to have Stanford break it off in their ass at home the following week.RaceBannon said:Jake Browning is going to break our hearts when the hand clapping pussy throws up all over himself against Arizona and Stanford and the season comes to another early end.

Jake Browning is improving and made some impressive throws on Saturday. With being able to check out of a run play and throw deep to Ross and pick up LB coverage on Mcclatcher for another TD.
He played pretty good against Arizona last year. 16 for 24 with 265 yards and 4 TD. Yes it was at Husky Stadium... Better OLine and better Recievers should help out also...

I don't know, but thescript.gif is that we lose in Arizona, then lose to Stanford and Oregon. Then lose to like Utah and say we improved toward the end.Baseman said:

If we don't lose @Zona we're off the 7-5/8-4 script and we might be in uncharted territory. -
My Browning will be the best QB on the field every game until the playoff. Enough said about that.

If we can't find a running game, this is inevitable. Our OL couldn't even open holes against a terrible Rutgers team and Gaskin looked tentative and slow.
We saw what happened when a team gets a little pressure on him where he just threw up that terrible interception. -
Slow down on the nega dawg cool aids race. Let the kid finish puberty before you bash him.
But seriously. He's a decent quarterback, but his dumbfuck coach hasn't realized that passing 40 times a game isn't going to win a championship. The bed shitting could have been a product of being a middle schooler playing a man's game. Or he actually will never be clutch, in which case, we are double fucked by a dumb coach and a shit QB. Either way we are fucked and the season is over.
Alabama's frosh QB looked pretty good in tearing apart USC, but he also has a smart coach who set him up well for the deep ball. -

Who gives a fuck how he played against Arizona last year? How'd he play against ASU? He missed a bunch of big throws and then brown-shorts'ed it up.
If you can't see the problem with our program has not been YOUTH (see Deshaun Watson or Shane Buchele or Tui if you need relevant examples for how being a true freshman has no fucking bearing on being a baller @ QB), RATHER OUR INABILITY TO BEAT MID-TIER TEAMS ON THE ROAD AND TOP TIER TEAMS AT HOME, then see @GrandpaSankey for a better set of eyes. -
Are you drunk or hungover? Jake didn't miss many passes last Saturday. The same passes he made last year. Let it play out!Dennis_DeYoung said:

I'm encouraged by the comments from @MikeMonan. I didn't see the game, but if Jake is checking down, picking up coverages and finding open receivers downfield, that's progress, so long as his socks aren't turning brown in the process. The first unit defense also sounds strong, another good sign. Running game is a bit worrisome regardless of how many Rutgers brought to the LOS. The Huskies burned these guys deep more than once, so they should have been able to create some gaps (and/or get around the edge) with a little misdirection. I didn't see the game so I probably shouldn't comment, but IMO they should have been able to run the ball against a pretty poor Rutgers team.
Anyway, unless they have an epic fail along the way, we won't know much about these Dawgs until after the preseason scrimmages. Best case scenario, the starters get a little useful work in while Pete continues to rotate through the depth, avoiding key injuries and giving back ups some live playing time prior to the season opener @Arizona on September 24. We'll know a lot more by the time their bye week rolls around a few weeks later. For now, this is an obvious LIPO. -
I cannot accept the hand clapping lifestyle. Jake, coach Pete and whoever else is responsible for the waving, gyrating handclapping bullshit needs to have one of their hands chopped off.

Edit: "We"? -
He padded his completion % with like 5 or 6 of those stupid ass screen plays for little to no gain. Or the -2 yard pass to Lindy that was nowhere near the line to gain. Not a dry eye in the stadium for that. You could hear our retarded fans clapping for that one.DeepSeaZ said:Are you drunk or hungover? Jake didn't miss many passes last Saturday. Those deep ducks to Ross will get fucking slapped or picked by the FS of any Pac-12 team worth a shit. And I doubt many teams will let a LBer cover McClatcher ever again. Those were the highlight plays.
The pass to Daniels that took forever to get reviewed was really nice. Perfect timing.
But between a dropped TD from a senior TE, and 3 big pass plays that I doubt we will see much more of once the REAL games begin, what was impressive about Browning or the offense in general? I haven't even mentioned the fucktarded running game... -

Total doog here, but Cobra (ILTCJC) had 3 very nice TD passes, another that was a great throw off play action that the SR TE dropped off his chest, and one terrible INT and another one that could have been.
The running game sucked, but Rutgers has as good of a D Line as we (?) will see the rest of the year. (yes, I know, fucking Rutgers. Have you watched any decent Pac 12 D Lines?) Their LBs were OK, and their DBs were bad. So Jake checks out of a run play, hits a nice deep ball TD, and we bash him. Not sure what else they were supposed to do on offense, keep pounding against a team that was selling out to not let Gaskin beat them, or take the easy candy over the top.
Gaskin will have 250 yards rushing the next two scrimmages and be ready to rumble in the desert. LIFPOFFS.
