Likely because he makes too many major mistakes on the field and the game manager that knows how to hand it off and throw it in the first row gives a better chance of them winning the games they are supposed to win ...
As has been discussed from time to time, the true battle that he has to win is next year with a new super frosh (locally) coming in ... lose that battle and the transfer is very likely. -

Eason was rarely hurried, hit or sacked in high school. He just sat back there, made a pot of coffee, ate a sandwich, and threw the ball as many times as possible. When it really counted in clutch time in the high school semis, he threw an interception as time expired. When he does play for UGA, I'm curious to see how he'll respond when some of those big ol' SEC boys knock him on his ass.
