Oh crap, another one of my thread clogging entries, forgive me.Well, we all know that college football is rigged. It's a great American game and reflects, well , ok it reflects America. In the US the system is rigged. In football the system is rigged. Rutgers will never be Notre Dame. A bunch of folks at the top always get the best players, best coaches, facilities, money, tradition, status whatever. And those guys at the top win. So the big boys, we know them well, will fight it out for the #one and everyone else will be considered a success if they go bowling which is a McMansion in the burbs vs. a penthouse on 57th St. The Ivies are the folks with daddies money. They already won, they don't even try. I'll be rooting for good ole RU. I'll always have a fondness for the distracted, unbelieveable bumbling that is our heritage. Now, of course, the story has changed, like Jerry Lewis in the Nutty Professor. The potion (which smells like money) is taking effect. The new suave and sophisticated lady killer is emerging. Should be fun to watch. Eh
