I don't get how the advanced stats rank UW so high. Top 25 sure.gif, top 10 tho?. I've always thought these models overcompensate for blow outs. When UW did win last year they did tend to have run-up scores (Az OSU WSU)
I also think you DAWGS caught USC at a very opportune time (thanks Sark). And the blowout vs Wazzu was in large part due to Falk being out. -

coach effect is a fucking stupid metric. if you recruit shitty. you can never be 'favored' to win, and therefore your coaching effect will never be negative.
Petersen is shit, but this metric has overweighted sark's unbalanced classes that were ranked 'highly'
unless you'd rather have Sonny Dykes or whoever Colorado is employing.

Jen says we gotta do whatever it takes to keep Peterman here for many, many years, no matter WHAT. Maybe you guys should be building him up and providing a more positive perspective so the players and coaches don't lose confidence when they read this board.
