UW’s offensive philosophy? It depends on the situation

Just run my offense from NFL Blitz. Call "da bomb" every time and roll out to the sideline for 50 yard runs, or throw it deep if the defense cheats up. Hire me Pete!

They haven't learned a fucking thing. Smith will be the scapegoat at the end of the year.
-
the philosophy is whatever the board says it is. The board knows all.

Preemptive fuck off.
The no-philosophy philosophy isn't the problem. They have been bad at executing—stunningly bad compared to what we? expected. The no-system system needs agile play calling and quarterbacking that we haven't had. When it does work, however, it's hard to defend. Keys become more nuanced. I know many of you? got pissed about the quote, “We run plays, we don’t have an offense. It makes it difficult to defend.” I dig it.
Postscript fuck off.

TL, DR: The offense is shit and Peterman and Smith are fags.GrundleStiltzkin said:Preemptive fuck off.

I didn't read the article but I agree that execution > unpredictability.GrundleStiltzkin said:Preemptive fuck off.

There are great college teams who are very predictable. But they execute well and the defense can't stop them. Two of those teams have won the P12 north every year it has been in existence. -
Agree. Boise State in those years had both.Dardanus said:

"It depends on the situation"
Translation - no matter what the situation is, Smiff (and by extension Pete) will find and call that exact worst play. -
Throw 52 times against ASU? UW had those mother fuckers on the ropes in the desert, running the ball down their throats, controlling time of possession, wearing ASU's defense down. Instead of continuing to run, Peterman and his boy switched gears. They passed and they passed and they passed. ASU came back and won.Dardanus said:The goal, Petersen said, is to be balanced — about 50-50 on run-pass plays — and unpredictable. One week they might throw the ball 52 times, as they did against Arizona State last November; another game, they might have only 21 pass attempts, as they did a week later against Oregon State.
Doesn't predictability come from personnel package/formation and down-and-distance?
So when the opposing defense has UW at 3rd and 8 and they see 3 WR, they are not going to think "gee....they ran the ball 50 times last week, I should watch for the run"

Doogs, that game clearly shows Peterman is brain dead, a fraud, or both. DDY? -
Disagree. 50 1st half plays, 18 were run plays.Baseman said:
