Meet Cooper Kupp: The Best College Football Player You've Never Heard Of

Select Quotes:
Jake Kupp, a Washington grad, also tried to use his connections at his alma mater to help, even reaching out to Steve Sarkisian directly to plead his grandson'€™s case.
Yup.
"€œWe couldn'€™t get anything back from these coaches,"€ he added. "€œNot even a note saying, '€˜Hey, we took a look, but sorry, it'€™s not going to work.'€™ We couldn'€™t get anything, and when you'€™re going through that it'€™s kind of disheartening."
He probably wouldn't have helped the recruiting rankings enough.
"The Huskies were one of the programs — and it was a different coaching staff than is there now — that we just couldn't get to even talk to us,"€ Craig Kupp said of his son. "€œAnd you know, my dad played football there, so it was quite frustrating that we couldn'€™t at least have a conversation with somebody. So for him to go out and do what he did out there, that was pretty neat."
Sark was such a piece of shit.

    Yeah, it would be exciting to go 5-4 in conference with that kind of talent!

    The great white hype. Please to be looking up Mike Hass for comparisons.

    Kupp is a system player in a system offense. He may get drafted but his NFL career will be short and undistinguished. Take your screenshots now.

    Well, I read the article and that was one of the main threads; his NFL career. Hence my post about his NFL prospects. Do you feel like a piece of shit now? If you don't, you should. Or not. Either way your contributions to HH are 81% positive so keep up the good work there splitskin. You're one of the good guys, everyone says so. Good day to you sir, and thank you for your service.

    Don't blame Sark, they were in on much bigger fish in 2012 (source photo attached). If it had gone their way, UW would have had a monster class. You realize on signing day, Eddie Van Der Does had two LOI's in front of him. One for ND, one for UW. He was all ready to fax in the UW letter when he had a last minute change of heart. Some out here will never be happy. If you guys knew how close UW was to getting Van Der Does, would you want Tosh wasting his time with Cooper Krupp?

    If you going to throw stones you damn well better know who you're throwing them at and be ready to sign your name, your real name to it. These pot shots some are taking out here won't fly. Think Im joking? Consider yourself warned. If we see it happen, you'll be gone. No further warning, just gone.
    @KimGrinolds called Kearsley an "idiot."

    I'm slightly disappointed Kim didn't write, "BRB, blonde" in that chat session. Still hilarious.

    "Typically kids with dark-colored hair mature faster than those with light-colored hair,"€ explains Kupp, who is blonde. "€œSo if you have a guy with dark-colored hair and a guy with light-colored hair and they both perform the same at the high school level, do you want to take the guy who has already developed all the way or the one who hasn'€™t?"

    So it goes along with his fasting/praying decision-making model.

    Didn't read all the posts, but if he ended up at Eastern it's hard for me to blame Sark.

    It would have been awesome if he would have transferred to UW this season.
