Two Reasons (An offseason natty prediction - Peterman will succeed!)

I guarantee it.
The more I think about it the more sure I am that CP will succeed in at least getting Husky football back to it's traditional level of success.
In the modern era (post WWII) Washington has won 61% of the time. James' winning percentage was 73%. Lambo and Skippy were at 65%. I am confident that TW will AT LEAST get back to the DJ level of winning for two reasons.
1. Peterman's record at Boise. In the modern era, Boise State's winning % has been right at 61%. Peterman won 71% of the time there. He overachieved given the historical strength of the program. Unlike Ty, he showed he can win in the WAC.
2. Washington is still WASHINGTON. Despite the last 15 years, we(?) still have the money, the tradition and the location to attract good results.
Therefore, do the math, Washington has historically won 10% more games that Boise. Pete was good enough to win 71% of the time at Boise, he ought to be around 81% here.
Chris Petersen may not get us back to the Dobie level of excellence (in fact, I would bet against it) but he is a solid, proven football coach. He won't make big mistakes. He will get the program back to it's historical level of achievement. We will be winning again soon, I think as soon as next year.
Think of it this way, do any of you really doubt that CP will be less successful than Lambo or Neu?
