Nearly 80 years ago @RaceBannon stood next to Hitler in the stands at the Olympic Rowing Gold Medal Men's 8 race in Berlin and watched as the USA boat from UW beat the Germans and Italians.
If you're too lazy to read the excellent book on this, or perhaps can't reed strong, there is a documentary on tonight about the greatest athletic team to ever grace the state of Washington.
