Oregon wins because:

their in shape

their organized

they execute

their in shape

Watching during warmups, Oregon is doing windsprints and other REAL FOOTBALL DRILLS while we are doing some sort of skippy toss the ball around thing.

When I lived in Oregon and worked with quooks, I hated the Ducks. Leaving the game in 2000 I told everyone "That's ok, I'll call you from the Rose Bowl" (I lied--I didn't call) and in 2002 and 2003 I was in Doog Heaven. But now that I'm back home and we suck, I don't hate them any more. I am just impressed that they play real football. WHY CAN'T WE DOMINATE A FOURTH QUARTER?!!11!!!

    I noticed that as well. I thought, whoa!!! And then I glanced over to our side, and we were playing frisbee and Sark was yukking it up with somebody in a warm up jacket.

    Sounds like Oregon passed your eye test.

    At the half time warm ups they did some sprints. UW milled around.

    It is surprising that UW can't dominate a fourth quarter when the team is Committed to Finishing though.

    Jim Owens? The guy you fired in 72? The guy that used to have purple helmets when Lambo played & coached for him.... and the guy Lambo tried to emulate? The guy that the black players refused to play for? Yeah... Oregon is like him.

    He was our HC when we earned our National Championship in 1960 or 1961 or whenever it was, by beating Minnesota, in the Rowe Bowl.

    Pretty sure Race was at that game. And that Lambo was a linebacker in that game, wearing a purple helmet.
