I still stand by my opinion that Oregon is this good. I think they boat race Alabama in the National Championship and it won't even be close.

    Clemson could eclipse them.
    .....

    no.

Clemson looks like shit, and won't win out. in some crazy scenario if both oregon and clemson win out, oregon will get the nod over clemson 99.99999999% of the time. oregon would have win every game by 1 point, and clemson would need to be destroying teams to pass the ducks in the polls.

oregon has too much national appeal, gets too much attention, and is too good to get passed up by a perennial choker like clemson

We're mostly smart enough to recognize UW's pattern repeating itself, but yet so many of you can't see the national pattern repeating itself?

By the way, there's no guarantee that Oregon even reaches the title game by winning out. Alabama and Clemson could eclipse them.
Please tell me I'm being whooshed.

Don't worry guys, my Hokies (GO BEAMER) will kick Clemson's ass.

The D underperformed, but it doesn't help when our O can't keep itself on the field for more downs. How many turnovers did we give them? I stopped counting after the fumble and the bobbled pass.

I bet Wilcox as DC, with a real HC, is the pattern for success.

Look, I am not saying Wilcox is the 2nd coming of DC Jesus Christ. I think he is a solid DC, nothing amazing, but pretty good.

How in the world if Oregon wins out will they not be in the National Title game? That doesn't make any sense to me.

It's not a whoosh. Clemson would have a significantly better OOC schedule and be ahead of Oregon in all of the computers.

It won't happen, of course. Florida State is the real ACC threat to Oregon.

Georgia's injuries will put them on the backside of the top 25. So they will only have the Florida St. victory to hang their hat on. Oregon would have UCLA (twice), Stanford

Thanks for choosing to become a fan of college football today, Mr. greenblood.

As you are unfamiliar with the sport, I should tell you that Clemson has a friendly in-state rivalry with South Carolina at the end of the season.

Beating two TUFF SEC schools and running the ACC table would be way more impressive than running through Oregon's schedule. Simple fact.

And for those who still don't believe me...Clemson is already ahead in two of the computers:
