Pretty much any HS should be sucking all the dicks they can find to get someone like Brandon Roy as a head coach. He was a fucking NBA all star. Pretty sure he knows the game as well as any AAU coach that "paid his dues". He took a job at Nathan Hale because of the Porters? No shit. Hale is lucky to have any of them. If they went to Prep or O'Dea, does this article exist? Nope. But that's different...
And as for Brad Jackson, everyone on that staff should feel lucky to have a job at all with the recent performance on the court. Is Porter Sr an upgrade? No clue. And I don't care. But he is an actual coach. It's not like Romar just fired his best assistant to hire a bagman onto his staff. And so fucking what if he did. He's paid to fucking win. This might be the first thing Romar has done in years that I am impressed by, if it works.
