Favorite Sark Losses?

1. Why do you hate money?vadawg said:I lost at least $15k betting on that game so.....it's one of my least favorite losses. But it was one of the games that really opened my eyes to what Sark was bringing to the table. He showed ZERO ability to change his tactics, and showed that he's a N/one trick pony.....
EVERY blowout loss, and EVERY loss attributed to crappy coaching toward the end of the game, are my "favorite's"...if favorite means most hated!CollegeDoog said:For me it's the 2011 game against Stanford. Here we are, 5-1, ranked #25 in the country, 9-1 in our last ten games, thinking we're the shit. Stanford comes out and runs the same power running play with the guard pulling, and racks up 446 yards rushing and 65 points. We put all 11 players in the box and they still got 10 ypc. Classic.

3. Bet The Field next time. -
For me it isn't even close, when u score 56 points and lose, that's fucking embarrassing, the Alamo bowl

Losing that kind of money in THIS economy must have been a real kick in the nuts.vadawg said:

If I'm remembering correctly, UW was 21 point underdogs in that game. My buddy bet $500 on it, and all of us that it was easy money. Sure, we expected UW to probably lose, but 21 points seemed like a lot. Needless to say, he was pretty upset at what transpired.vadawg said:I lost at least $15k betting on that game so.....it's one of my least favorite losses. God damn. Other than The Field, the best bet on the bored is Oregon. The Ducks were -9 vs Kansas St in the Fiesta Bowl. I bet $200 and honestly, would have been comfortable betting $1000 more if I hadn't spent so much money on hookers and blow.vadawg said:I lost at least $15k betting on that game so.....it's one of my least favorite losses. UCLA 2009 is when I confirmed Sark was a complete idiot. Polk shred's UCLA in the first half and barely touches the ball in the second. During post-game comments, Sark admits he didn't know how many carries Polk had in the first half but thought it was too many.

Last year's Apple Cup should have been the end of the Sark era. Easily the worst loss, that coog team wasn't far from a high school team.

When did Mora win a Rose Bowl and pop off, smart guy?HillsboroDuck said:

Yeah, I have a ticket from a bookie.....lol It's not like I flew to Vegas to bet on the fucking game.
We were favored, and I thought we could keep it within the 20+pts....I was wrong. I almost bet more, as I had my purple colored glasses on bigtime. Fucking idiot (ME).TierbsHsotBoobs said:

*Swoon*HillsboroDuck said:At Arizona 2012. Others may have been more painful or humiliating, but that was the most Sark loss of them all. Disastrous performance on the road against a mediocre team. Ran the ball like 3 times in the first half while throwing it 53. Doogs defending the playcalling saying UA was terrible against the pass, ignoring the fact that a) our passing game sucked b) they were even worse against the run.
I gave up on Sark long before that loss, but that one epitomized the era better than any other. -

2011 @ USC... Huskies were 6-3 going into the game and I was hoping Sark would rally UW after shitty losses to Oregon/Stanford and get the program its third win in a row over USC, but instead the Huskies completly shit the bed.
Marquise Lee, Curtis McNeal and SC's Special Teams raped everyone's butt hole and the game was over by the 2nd quarter (26-3).. Sark's only adjustment was benching Keith Price for Nick Montana who threw his first career TD. *facepalm* -
Don't forget Oct 3rd 2009 -
Chris Polk appeared to give the Huskies a 30-22 lead with a 6-yard TD run with 7:07 left, but after a review he was ruled down on the half-yard line.
"I felt like I got in the end zone," said Polk, who ran for a career-high 136 yards.
The Huskies couldn't advance the ball on three tries, but got a fresh set of downs when Notre Dame was called for roughing the snapper on the field goal attempt. The Huskies couldn't get it in on the next three plays either, with Locker being stuffed for no gain from the 1. Erik Folk kicked a 24-yard field goal to cap the 19-play drive that ate up 9 minutes and 19 seconds on the clock.
"The whole game came down to that double goal-line stand," Weis said.
"I've never seen so many guys get tackled so close to the goal-line that many times," Sarkisian said.
FYFMFE
We lost to Charlie Fucking Weis. -
Doogs blamed the refs, neglecting the fact that UW couldn't get a single yard in seven attempts.
-
The same refs that gave UW twice as many chances to score? LOL.Gladstone said:Doogs blamed the refs, neglecting the fact that UW couldn't get a single yard in seven attempts.
Doogs hate it when you point that out. -
