    I'm glad you guys are finally giving Sark his props. Yes, Wilcox is the best DC in the country. Too bad he's prob headed to BSU in 2 months. Yes, UW wins tomorrow - Sark is undefeated in the new Husky Stadium, and almost undefeated in the black unis.

    Even if it was Sark, Woodward gets the credit because he went to the Prez to get the blank check.

    This is just hearsay (my sources are probably shit), but word is, UW reached out to Wilcox long before the Baylor bowl game. I think it had to be known that Wilcox was looking to abandon Derek Dooley's sinking ship. Someone deserves the credit for giving him the money and getting him here. He brought a nice staff with him too.

    Dumb luck does exist so people shouldn't read too far into it. It's how you allow yourself to think Mark Emmert is a good football president cause he hired Nick Saban many moons ago.

    There is a different President now than at the time of the Sark hire. Wood went to Young to get the approval for the "blank check" for the new coaches. Unfortunately, Mark Emmert wasn't aborted before he became President of UW and destroyed the football program.

    If Young was a good president he would have done that last year though.

    Not saying he'll be awful like Emmert but not firing Sark last year shows they aren't good either.
