Eliminate caucuses. The entire process is a joke. It takes too long, and if people don't show up to more meetings, the delegates go to the other candidate, regardless of the voting of the people that showed up to cast their vote in the first place. Eliminate closed primaries. Voters should be able to vote for anyone they want. Making voters register almost a year in advance for a certain party (before candidates are even declared) is just an artificial system of voter suppression that serves no purpose.
Eliminate polling stations and switch everyone to mail-in ballots...OR make election day a national holiday so that people don't have to choose between work and voting. Or just stop closing polling stations so that people don't have to wait 5 hours to vote. Voting should not be difficult. Politicians should be forced to work for all Americans. Speaking of which...
Eliminate BS voter ID laws. Voter fraud is a non-issue. The anecdotes of dead people and illegals voting are old news, misleading, and statistically irrelevant. Especially compared to the number of American citizens that are disenfranchised by these intentionally obstructive laws.
Every state should have the same rules and the same system. The current system is unnecessary and inefficient. Not to mention outdated. -
