    Stars had the 2nd best record in the league and best record in the West ... I'd say that they've had a good year whether they win this series against the Blues or not (who had the 3rd best record in the league and 2nd in the West). With how young they are on the current roster, the depth of their minor league system, and the cap space that they have, their best years are still ahead of them. In many ways, they are set up to go on a run similar to what Chicago has done since 2009 (very similar parallel to where the Stars are at right now) ... but probably a little better off with some of the depth that they've got in the minors.
