The tournament sucked balls this year

Trying to watch the natty (ILTCITN) and outside of a few flashes of brilliance from Hart and the guard from UNC it's been a wrestling match with terrible shooting and tons of turnovers.

NBA playoffs can't start soon enough.

It's picked up a little over the last five minutes. Arc is a good player. Very heady, makes all the hustle plays.

Too many slippery pivot feet that aren't being called.

Jesus what a last 2 minutes. The shot UNC hit to tie was surreal. If they had gone on to win the game it would have been an all time shot.

I still hold that the tourney was a bit of a damp squib, but this game certainly made up for the F4 dreckfests.

Da Fuq?!? The tournament was great - first round full of upsets, a team without a bunch of one and dones wins it. What more do you want?

NBA ball is clearly better than college right now but just because Romar again couldn't get to the dance doesn't mean the tournament sucks. The tournament is always awesome.
I'm kind of a college b ball hater because the teams aren't that good, but it was entertaining.

Some of the teams are great to watch - again just because Romar ball lacks any kind of aesthetic value doesn't mean there isn't good ball out there.

Michigan State is always great to watch (save gagging a first-rounder and ruining 99% of the brackets in the country). Wisconsin is as fundamentally sound and runs really good stuff. Virgina, same. Jay Wright teams are usually undersized but are great to watch year in and year out.

I lean toward those teams that play like the Spurs. Team-oriented squads that have their own style. Don't really get off on the Kentuckys and UNC's and, lately, Dukes who bring in the one and dones and simply overwhelm opponents with athleticism. I like the struggle of a kid like Arcidiacono or Ron Baker (#whiteboyz) who are just complete gym rats (I said no racist crap so don't twist).

Team ball with committed players and coaches is good at any level - even high school (where #myrbvikings at?). Just because they aren't as developed or skilled athletically doesn't mean they aren't 'any good'. Its that they haven't advanced to the next level. Good ball is good ball whether it's in 5th grade AAU or the NBA. If you love the game, you appreciate where its at on the development scale and how the coaches are able to mold players into a cohesive functioning unit.

But if you've been fed a steady diet of Romar ball, it's easy to see how one could get lulled into thinking NBA is the only game in town.

    tl;dr, FOG, abundance.

    Both FF games sucked.

But overall, this was a great tournament.

It looks bad because of how good the NBA has been this year.

There's blowouts everywhere. So many upsets in rounds 1 and 2 made up for Oklahoma soiling themselves. Syracuse finished, what, 99th in the ACC? UNC already knew they PWNED the Orangemen. If Mark Few/Tony Bennett weren't such dumbfucks, 'Cuse shouldn't have been there anyway.

I'm not a golf fan but I know the Masters is always awesome because it's the Masters. Same thing with March (April) Madness. Always beyond awesome somewhere in those three weeks.
