It was carefully designed this way so that the boards can get bawdy and lively without turning into HHBv.1 with blue waffles and lemon party pics all over the place. That would eventually create a toxic environment, if left alone to fester.
It's a fine line but it has proven to work for us, as the site continues to grow in traffic.
