Zag / Utes gamethread anyone?

I lay in my bed dying of syphilis pneumonia and am very excited to watch Sabonis vs Jakob. I actually think it's a good matchup for the Zaggots. Plus Utah bowing out would be hilarious for the P12.

    Mormons versus Catholics. Go Mormons!

Zags win this one rather easily, say 68-34.

If Wiltjer is stroking those 3s this is gonna be a plunger

I'd pass on Few. One Elite 8 in 17 consecutive years of making the tournament?

There is now no doubt that NWG made the right move going to Gonzaga.

    Agree.

He'd be a bench player on this years UW team.

Zags take a huge step back next year without Wiltjer and Karnowski.

He would have been the starting PG, AA SG, Murray SF, Chriss PF, Dime/Dickerson C.

    Thybulle would be 6th man.

I like to bash NWG as much as the next guy, but he would definitely been running the point at the tip.

Thybulle is a good defender and a plus athlete. And AA and Murray both better than NWG.

He steals minutes from Crisp only if Crisp doesn't kick his ass.

I'd pass on Few. One Elite 8 in 17 consecutive years of making the tournament?

Convenient that you go 17 years instead of 18. They have 2 in 18 years and a great possibility to make that 3 next weekend. That gives them 7 sweet 16 or better seasons in 18 seasons and 18 tpurnament berths in 18 years. In the same time frame the Huskies have 3 sweet 16 appearances nothing more. Four sweet 16's if you go back one more year. Zero elite 8 appearances.

Yeah Few has an easier road to the tourney BUT he goes further in the tourney and does it with much less talent than he would as coach of UW.

I would love to have Few as our coach.

That may be true but replacing an incompetent with a turd is FS.

He used 17 instead of 18 because Few wasn't the coach 18 years ago dumbass

Using your logic, Romar has won a national championship.

I never said we should replace him with Few, just that Few is a better coach. I don't want either one of them. I really don't care who we get to be honest, I just want to win. FInd any coach that can do that.

Karnowski is coming back. This was the rebuilding year. And it's looking like another E8 year. Not too shabby for a little po dunk Catholic school.
