Smart move because there would always be the threat of Peyton coming back once Osweiler struggled.

Brock Osweiler never really impressed me anyways. Is he any more of an upgrade from what's available in the open market or through the draft?

He's getting a pay day for one good half of football against Pittsburgh. Let's also not forget how he completely got exposed in the second half of that game.

Denver is probably better off, now that they can explore a cheaper option. That defense is good enough to make the playoffs with any of us under center.

We live in a world where Brock and Cousins make 18mil

Which is why the Redskins and the Texans will always be the Redskins and the Texans.

It's amazing how even in a game filled with socialistic tendencies (draft order by record, schedule balancing, salary cap, etc.) Certain teams continue to out "stupid" each other every year. While teams like New England, Pittsburgh, and Green Bay continue to benefit from the stupids year after year.

They may not win it every year, but there's no question that almost every year, all three teams are in title contention.

Russell Wilson's at under 22 per already looks like a massive bargain.

    Hi @salemcoog!
I hate that fag. But couldn't agree more

They should rip that deal up now and raise with a rolling extension.

Quality QB play is down overall in the league. After the top ten guys, you're pretty much throwing darts blindly and praying. Defensive length and speed has really put a premium on a top signal caller, which should logically mean guys should get more time to develop and adjust to the NFL, but that doesn't mesh with the win now philosophy of the NFL.

That's why guys like Matt Flynn, Hoyer, Tyrod Taylor, Matt Cassell, Ryan Mallett, Josh McCown, etc. got paid or were given full-time shots with short bursts of success.

If Jake Locker announced tomorrow he had a change of heart and wants to get back into the game he'd probably be the most coveted free agent QB available and paid very well.

Deadspin reported yesterday that the Broncos might go after Kaep. This is a delicious possibility.

True, but the common denominator for all three of those teams is Hall of Fame QBs.

True, but New England was still relevant with Bledsoe at quarterback, and Pittsburgh made multiple playoffs appearances with Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox at quarterback.

    Crisped for accuracy.
