On the other, this has been an outstanding commitment of his for a while (and I'd be shocked if there wasn't a substantial appearance fee built in) so it's not like this is an outright snub ...

Nancy always carried herself with poise and class. I had a lot of respect for her, in spite of disagreeing with some of her views as I grew up in college in the 80s.
I liked seeing the military guard carrying her casket. She deserved nothing less from our great nation. -
