He believed in free public transportation, specifically trains.

    Not surprised you like him.
And which socialist is your favorite?
There aren't any socialists in this race.

Odd Bernie claims he's one and the democratic party can not tell you what the difference is between the party and socialism.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/07/30/chris_matthews_to_debbie_wasserman_schultz_whats_the_difference_between_a_democrat_and_a_socialist.html

It sounds like you don't even understand the basic fundamental of socialism.
Well here's a softball name a successful prosperous socialist country? Socialism is all the industry controlled by DMV and postal employees. Heck I remember that great socialist invention in Russia in the mid to late 80's. They actually invented a machine to make stale bread taste good! It was called a TOASTER they stood in line for weeks to get one. Great system. After all it was the USSR. Socialism has NEVER been successful and never will be.

As Ayn Rand said "There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism—by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide."

Or you may know this fine socialist from Germany "“To be a socialist,” says Goebbels, “is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole.”

This kind of sums up the socialists here Sam was a smart guy. “No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.”
    ― Samuel Adams

I think there are still enough Americans left though.

“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.”
    ― Samuel Adams

I'm not saying socialism is successful. I'm clearly saying you don't know what socialism is. For the fourth time.

    Merriam-Webster Says:

    Simple Definition of socialism
: a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies

    Full Definition of socialism
    1
: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
    2
a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
    3
: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

My definition is a bunch of ideologues gain power and then become the elite, Control everything, squeeze every penny out of the system and live like kings. As they gain power they kill any opposition or send them to forced labor camps. They exterminate the educated and reeducate the uneducated to follow the great system. Then the economy turns to mush and the masses live in poverty.

Seems to be how it's gone so far!

Maybe I'll ask the 2 guys I know that lived in Cambodia when the Khmer Rouge took over to explain it to you. Maybe people I've talked to from Russia, East Germany etc. etc. You are a dumb as a mud fence.

The irony is that Sanders has no issue with being called a socialist or democratic socialist and his base has no problem with it either. His movement is based on moving America towards socialism. He is honest. Not sure why so many here want to deny the sky is blue.

Do you think Sanders is too stupid to know who he is? What party is he a member of? It's not the Democratic Party

    Hope this helps
