Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), is joining Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX),and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to push for legislation to increase immigration enforcement and crack down on H-1B Visa guest worker abuse.

This week Brooks introduced companion bills to Cruz and Sessions’ ICE Agent Support Act and the American Jobs First Act in the House.

The first bill mandates that civil fines collected from immigration violations be used to fund immigration enforcement far from the border, and the second bill changes the H-1B white-collar guest-worker program to help American college-grads.

Cruz and Sessions introduced both bills the the Senate earlier this year.

    This is a genius idea actually. Use funds generated from conservative agendas to pay for some liberal concerns like college costs, health care for the poor, etc. If the liberal left vote against these programs, the right can say, we'll then you are against affordable health care and affordable college. The key though is to actually generate funds from these, which I have a hard time believing. When has the government actually created something that generated income, other than taxes? I don't think it's happened.
