Some true winners over at UWDP

You want to see the 2016 basketball dawg fan? This was actually posted from a writer to the site. Pac12's refs were actually targeting UW???? Oregon hasn't lost at home all year, UW has had foul trouble all year, UW is on a 1-6 game slide, while oregon keeps winning games. I wonder if it has to do with the players, coaching and actual game play? Christ awful.
Foul trouble was a problem yet again for the Huskies. Mattisse Thybulle, Marquese Chriss, Noah Dickerson, Malik Dime, and Andrews all had two fouls in the first half. Chriss and Thybulle both wound up fouling out. The conspiracy theorist in me believes that the refs were targeting the Huskies to get back at Lorenzo Romar after he protested the Oregon State loss and was critical of the refs following the game. Whether or not that is actually true, the fact is the Huskies struggled once again with foul trouble, which just seems like a certain thing at this point.
In the comments it gets even better.
From the moral victories guy:
Which losses are bad losses though?
Arizona – Nope (those bigs)
@Utah – Nope (again, the bigs)
@Colorado – Maybe, but it was 1 point
Cal – Again, maybe, but it was 3 points
@Oregon State – Nope, AND it was by 1 point on the road
@Oregon – Nope, on the road against the best team in the conference
There is a large group of folks who are in full throated support and in their corner of the youth movement and what did we? expect this season. What is truly comical is the line "it was never about this season". People forget this isn't football where you can look 3 years down the line and expect players to be here. It doesn't work like that. This whole team could flip by next season especially when they lose AA and most of their reason for early season success.

A few moments of reflection:
UW could have easily gone 3-3 in the schedule outlined above. What's worse is someone actually said "Cal - Again, maybe but it was 3 points". Cal hadn't won a road game in a year. How in the fuck should you not expect to win that game? @OSU UW was up 6 with under 1:50 seconds to play. So yes, i would expect a win there as well.
A quick refresher on what could be next year for all the lovers of the world.
AA leaves, who currently accounts for 25% of the teams overall scoring. 33% of overall Assists, the most 3's on the team and a whopping 35% of the FT's taken by the team. That we know is going out the door.
The possibility that both Murray and Chriss leave is not high, but I would think there is a good chance one leaves.
Then there is the always relevant question, which player is leaving that we? don't expect. Dorsey is an easy one. But what about green, devenir? All of a sudden the depth that is on the team vanishes. Bringing in 9 new players there is bound to be attrition within the ranks as players realize they won't be playing.
It's why having a coach is so fucking important who can mold teams and manage rosters. -
I do see some that aren't Romar fans but the ones that are still on his side are the most nauseating of their ilk. This is a throw away year, results this year were irrelevant, what did we expect from a young team.
If Romar is the best guy we(?) can get, and many mouthbreathing doogs think that he is, then he hasn't raised this program's standards nearly as much as they claim. They dig their own graves when they admit we can't get anyone better.
I couldn't care less about what they do with Romar and judging by attendance, very few are interested. -
Meanwhile on dawgman, someone has compiled a kenpom rating chart that shows UW has actually been better in their 7 game slide than they were when they were 7-3. See, the team is getting better because losing to Oregon by 12 is better than beating USC by 1

10th place is the new 1st. -
UWDoogPound seems to basically think we are lucky to even have a football and basketball team.

Also, the people who dismiss this season will conveniently forget the garbage we saw after the B-Roy years. He gets a pass THIS year, but then we should also forget the previous 4 seasons since it wasn't the style Romar really WANTED to play.
