The biggest fallacy in romar's tenure is "championships" which come from the end of season tourney. Nothing better than when Mitch and Fain get all smug after someone throws up 5-10 talking points about why Romar is a bad coach and they dismiss it as "oh just another stupid fan that can text/twiiter next".
If the next guy after Boeheim has THREE years like Romar has just had (.500 record no touney, etc) at his beloved Syracuse, Mitch would fly back to New York himself and take him out if he thought it would help the cause.
Fain is just the latest yes man for Mitch, who happens to have his blinders on for Romar, and his response would be "How can you expect Lorenzo to have made it his own program yet? It's only been 14 years and you don't know the damage Nance/Russo/Bender did from 85-2002. -
