What's amusing is that these guys are just running around trying to find anything that they can stick on Trump. Instead anything that they are hitting him on is completely missing the point.
Rubio kept running around asking Trump about his healthcare plan ... not realizing that Trump gave a healthcare answer.
Cruz goes around trying to get Trump to sound like a socialist on medicine ... yet Trump says that he's not going to allow people to die on the street ... Cruz can't win on that point.
The bottom line is that Cruz and Rubio are trying to hit Trump with traditional political gotcha ... which while it may appeal to their base ... isn't going to change the opinions of those that are tired of business as usual.
Nothing showed that as much as the back and forth between Rubio and Trump on Israel. -
Kasich has been strong ... very viable VP for Trump IMO
-
I like Carson's manner, he's probably very soothing in the hospital. Rubio had the small breakthrough unsettling Trump on healthcare, but then he never went back to that style of attack. And really, most Americans want to see drastic changes with the political system, so missing details in February isn't that important.

Would like to see Kasich as Trump's VP rather than Rubio, who the GOP will push hard.

Not sure how much Rubio really hurt Trump on healthcare other than sound bites ...
As someone that has worked in the healthcare industry, two of the biggest challenges are the borders and pre-existing conditions ... both of which Trump hit. You could argue how much the government should be involved in the healthcare game.
Insurance is obviously a huge issue ... general actuarial math would tell you that the more of a population base you have, the better the underlying numbers.
The other issue is really the underlying cost ... and that's something that needs to be evaluated in general. How much of that is the President having a stated plan going into an election versus all involved working towards a solution? This is where I think Carson can really add value in Dept of Health and Human Services. -
I accept the fact that this country wants some sort of private public mix on health care. Let's find the best system
-
Obama is president = government shouldn't be involved in health care.
Trump is president = more government involvement in health care.
I do gotta say. You guys are entertaining.
