Ross is a weapon who would play on any SEC team. The fact that they failed so spectacularly with him in 2014, ultimately failing so hard as to remove him from offense completely, is one of the largest negative marks against Petersen and his FS Polish grandmother of an OC.

That's kind of my poont though. IF Ross is actually special as a receiver, he's never been special at UW. Blame it on development, blame it on scheme, blame it on OC or HC I don't really care. My poont is that getting him back is not going to significantly change anything.

One thing that I forgot to mention in my Ross discussion about the routes that he could run ... and those are routes that I don't think it takes a super amount of route running skills (at least at the college level), is that a lot of those routes requires the QB to be able to throw a timely and accurate ball.

When looking at Ross running those routes in 2014, he had Miley Cyrus throwing him the ball who couldn't throw much that was timely or accurate. If you go back and look at a lot of his throws, his completion percentage was propped up on safe throws that weren't requiring timing throws into short windows.

On top of that, Ross's 14 catches as a freshman were 7th on the team. His 17 in 2014 were tied for 6th on a team that only had one player with more than 25 catches. In contrast, the 2013 and 2015 teams had 5 guys with over 25 catches on it.

But tell me again how Miley Cyrus was a good quarterback?

You should consider extending your points a little bit. I'm not sure I get what you're trying to say.
I've been forced to learn how to condense my points to be able to get them in between your incoherent ramblings ...

The bashing of Browning on deep throws is ridiculous to me. He wasn't great on them last year. Most of the errors he made on them were by overthrowing them ... I feel better about that than consistently underthrowing them.

Haha especially when in 2014 we had to call in a designated deep route QB for throws over 30 yards

I was stoned when I wrote it. I am all out of cocaine and have been having to just smoke weed all the time to get me through. It's a tough life.
