I don't care if there is a 3rd bathroom for whomever, but I don't think it's okay to infringe on people's privacy because you think you're something you're not.
Women shouldn't have to feel threatened by a guy in their locker room because he thinks he is a woman. At the end of the day, he is physically a man and poses a real physical threat to them. We're not all the same. That's ok.
It's not about threatened or uncomfortable, they want the right to use that bathroom.
In what way is a trans person using a restroom infringing on anyone elses right to privacy? Are gay people infringing on that right? Would you like to start having straight check points before entering a public restroom or locker room?
What you think women should and should not have to feel is irrelevant. Furthermore, you are not the decider on what is and is not threatening. If women have the right to not "feel" threatened then everyone has that right. And please tell me how exactly you are going to sort through what is and is not a real threat. Do straight women feel threatened by gay women? If so what percent feel that way? How high or low does it have to be to ban lesbians from public restrooms?
