Not sure if a full scholarship or preferred walk-on. Would not surprise me if we had one more scholarship left to give and gave it to him.

This is awesome. The kid is good enough to play D1 and had plenty of legit offers (UCLA, Utah St, Colorado), I'm shocked he didn't take one of those up.

I had heard his HS teammate David Long was trying to get UCLA and UW to offer Bryant a scholarship as part of a potential package deal.

Weren't we pretty high on this kid at one point? I thought he was the next option up behind Love.
He is short but athletic.

I think it was Greg Biggins who said that he would have been one of the most highly recruited CBs in the west if he was a couple inches taller. This is about the best you can get for a walk on. He was #3 on our board for awhile (after Gilchrist and Love)
