Don Pellum has the same resume as Hoke other than being 78-70 as a head coach. Special, right? Being a head coach has zero bearing on how you are as a coordinator and vice versa. Gene Chizik, Will Muschamp, etc.
How involved is a guy that doesn't even wear a headset on the sideline?
If I hear one more Duck fan give a guy who had a D-coordinator and wasn't even involved during games credit for "turning Michigan around" by getting fired in four years I'm going to fucking snap.
The absolute truth of this hire is the guy was a mediocre to awful head coach who fell into a BCS bowl and has zero experience as a coordinator. Do you know who else has that same fucking resume? Ty Willingham. Next time you come to the big boy table don't be a fucking retard.
Nothing about this hire should bring excitement. At best it's LIPO. With Slingblade failure is much more realistic. -
