10 point lead at the half. On the road.
No way they blow this, right??? -
I like Green Bay tonight. -13 at Lambeau tonight.

If Murray played WR for UW next year with Ross, UW would score 6+ passing TDs/game.
UW hasn't seemed this fast in BB in many years. Romar seems to have gotten rid of their offensive hesitations. -

Yeah, but who's gonna throw it to them?priapism said:If Murray played WR for UW next year with Ross, UW would score 6+ passing TDs/game.

Color commentator is obviously pro-ASU. Whenever ASU fouls, he says it isn't a foul. Sounds like Hurley's friend.

Dawgs win! Dawgs win!
1st place. EZ win. With a YOUNG team.
Haters awfully quiet! -
Huge win. Expected this team to melt down after the historic 2nd half collapse against Arizona. No shame in a split at all. AA made up for his OOC turnovers by being clutch from FTs there at the end.

Andrews may not be popular around here, but was definitely clutch today on the free throw line down the stretch.

I'm here. I hate having to listen to Rondeau/Hamilton 2-4 times a game say in the most pc way possible "husky player xxx can not (fill in the blank). They have to know the game situation". I hate having to listen to the tv analyst say the same thing. I hate watching every team we play get 40-50 ppg performing a lay-in/dunk drill. I hate the fact that any coach here at UW in their 10-14th year or whatever the hell it is would miss the tourney 4 straight years in the next to shittiest power 5 bb conf in America. I also hate that same said coach after this many years has to have a dream team of hs talent within 15 minutes of Seattle in order to have a team talented enough to compete.CuntWaffle said:

And before we make him coach of the year/decade let's remember UCLA (who is crap but did beat Kentucky by some miracle) had us dead at home, USC was up 22 with 11 minutes left, Ernie Kent is the only coach in the Pac-12 who is dumb enough to want to get in a up and down game with us, and Arizona turned on the switch in the 2nd half, so you might want to wait until the end of the season before you crown his ass. -
Still here, still want him fired. What's actually comical is that the defenders are posting up that he's actually winning in his 14th year, and yet has never made it past the sweet 16 and we should all be bowing down and kissing his feet.priapism said:Romar haters???
Pass
Good team, glad he finally started recruiting like he used to. Bring in someone who has game mgt skills.
Hes' the andy reid of college basketball. Same tired mistakes every year. -
Couple of things, UW was up most of the second half on UCLA, not the other way around. USC, yes best player on the floor got hurt, but shit happens and they were still up by 7 with 2 minutes left. Also, what is worse, posting up that Romar is actually winning in his 14th year, or posting down that he is actually winning in his 14th year? Lots of coaches are the Andy Reid of college basketball, because the majority of coaches have never and never will win it all, or make it to a final four. #facts

speaks volumesshows how much people stopped giving a fuck about the program under Romar the last 5 years. -
There really is no reason for Andrews to not be popular. He's a good college guard that has really improved. He doesn't shoot a high overall percentage, but he gets to the line 10+ times a game and shoots over 40% from 3. The advanced stat nerds should be telling us how great his true shooting percentage is, and all that stuff. He's averaging over 20 a game. He's made a lot of you that were over the top critical of him look stupid.Passion said:Andrews may not be popular around here, but was definitely clutch today on the free throw line down the stretch.

And the leading scorer in the conference.
Any haters are just being stubborn at this point.

He has done about 1k times better than anyone could have expected based on his previous seasons. this team would be really bad without him on it. He still has some seriously boneheaded moments but overall the guy is clutch at the end of the game and has kept a bunch of kids in diapers together through this season. For that he should get a tip of the cap.ThomasFremont said:

Ugh doog Romar defenders.
You are all pieces of shit.
Literally. Pieces of shit.
You'll pile excuse after excuse up to defend a lazy coach who effectively took a four year sabbatical from the program, but are lightning quick to jump on Petersen "this isn't the MWC" who although underwhelming so far still has time to prove himself.
You parade out the usual tripe ... "we're so young" "the refs screwed us" (amazing how that comes out again and again), bleating that we could have beaten the upper tier teams if only variables X, Y, and Z fell in our favor blah blah blah.
People like you make me want to throw up. People like you destroy any potential this program has. People like you, in your heart of hearts, don't believe UW can win because everyone else cheats and it's not 1954 anymore and whatever, so it doesn't really bother you if we lose.
You and everyone like you sucks.
Fuck you. -
Sounds like I care.

I hate AA because he's made Romar look passable this year.

I'm hoping some of you are pulling whooshes but they're about 66 hours removed from getting blown off the court by Arizona. They were up late in the first half and down by three at half.
Losing to them is one is one thing. They were outscored by about 30 in the second half.
He's a good recruiter. We've known that for a while. Nobody does less with more. -
