I was at a muni by Anaheim in 1989 before the Freedom Bowl and ended up in a foursome with Rodgers. I commented that it was amazing that he could play golf with his permanently broken arm that he had a cast on for his entire career.

Purple Reign won a Natty and was filled with seniors.
We had a good year on D for a team with key players who are all basically sophomores (Qualls, Gaines, Victor, Bierria, Jones, Baker, King).
Also... my favorite D players of all time were all on that
Jimmy, Ron Holmes, Tim Meamber, Reggie R., Joe Kelly, Tim Peoples, Vestee... fuck. -
