    Steffon McKnight has really nice film. I heard he hates talking to the TBS'rs, so his recruitment is an unknown.

    I could see him going to either UW or ASU.

    I suspect we might bring in Drew Kobayashi the last weekend of the month with Herbig if we don't get CTY (maybe even if we do) and try to flip him.
    Speaking of Kobayashi, why the hell would he want to go to Cal where he'd be straight buried in the depth chart for a few years? They had 7 or 8 receivers in their last class, and this current class has another 4 including him. There's no guarantee he'd get meaningful playing time until he's a senior.

    On an unrelated note, it's going to be great watching cal go back from mediocre to ranked too high again.

    Their HC should have tried harder to get out

    He didn't want out he just wanted to leverage a threat into an extension.

    Can't believe Cal fell for that bluff. They are going to be terrible again next year.

    If the UC system is known for anything it's for making informed, clairvoyant financial decisions. I can't believe it either.

    @Dennis_DeYoung loves Fuller

    He's my 'hidden gem' of the class.
    I figured he would decommit with Choate and Pease leaving. I guess Bush and CP like him.
    I doubt it. I think he committed early and he's not the kind of kid that Iowa and Purdue stayed on. He was everyone's early '2nd' guy.

    Also, I doubt Pete just drops dudes.
    I thought the standard move was just to stop recruiting them.

    If you are Fuller and your new position coach never contacts you wouldn't you look at Texas State?
    Has it been reported that the coaches haven't contacted Fuller? That doesn't seem like the Petersen formula. Almost every other coach does it though so that may be incorrect thinking.

    Yes, but he parlayed the desperate flirting into a new deal that likely sets him for life. If he makes a bowl every season or three at Cal he's set. I would imagine Dykes would be an in demand OC if he ever was fired.
