Circle of life

April 2016 - great spring workout. Obviously the guys worked out hard this winter and bought in to the conditioning program. Browning is very accurate. The new receivers are great. Gaskin! We could win 10 games this year.
August 2016 - Can't wait for the season. 10 wins minimum. Highest SRS in history for our 7-6 team in 2015. Addition by subtraction with more Sark players gone. Petersen's guys are young but a big upgrade. Browning looks accurate at practice. Gaskin! 3rd year is the year to judge.
October 2016 - sure the non conference schedule was easy but you can still be impressed with how good we looked. You can only play who is on the schedule. Feeling good about 7-2 or 6-3 at worse for the league.
October 2016 - You can blame Petersen for fucking up the Stanford game or you can realize that Stanford is really good and we were right there with a chance to win. A close loss to a good team helps our SRS.
October 2016 - It's hard to win in Eugene. Not sure Vince Lombardi would figure out how to get this team to play better there. We were close at halftime and put on a little rally there at the end. Lots of teams will lose by 30 to Oregon this year.
November 2016 - Yes we are 2-4 in the league. I expected better but I also can look at why we are where we are and see the progress with this program. We are really close. We just need to get rid of the rest of the Sark players and get more recruiting classes in here. Petermen's first few classes are throw away classes because it takes time to get the word out that we are improving. We're in on a lot of big names this year. We need to close the season strong.
December 2016 - We can't win the Apple Cup every year. At least it didn't cost us anything this time. Another 4-5 league record isn't what anyone wanted but I have been saying since April that it was possible. 7-5 is better than 6-6 last year. You don't fire a coach for improving. We get 15 practices for the Toilet Bowl which will help.
January 2017 - 8 wins after a rousing bowl game win over N E South Louisiana Tech. 10 wins is a very reasonable goal for this year. What happened in the past is meaningless. Our 2016 SRS was very high for a 8-5 team. It is fair to turn up the heat on Petersen next year if he doesn't win 10. I think he will.

Exhibit A during the season... @Tequilla posting on Oct 16th 2012 about 2013 being special right in the middle of an annual Sark 3 game losing streak
Exhibit B after another 7-6 season from Sark... @Tequilla on December 26th 2012 after a loss to BSU saying "UW is right on track to becoming a major player in the pac12 going forward" under Sark and achieving a minimum 10 wins in 2013

You clearly think that you are "exposing" me for my inconsistencies with your comments. In fact, not at all as you are completely cherry picking my comments to fit your narrative.
Team won 9 games in 2013. As @HeretoBeatmyChest has pointed out numerous times, the 2013 team was loaded with talent and from a record standpoint dramatically underperformed compared to SRS. With this being Year 5 of Sark's tenure at UW, very clear that there would not be an end to his underperformance. I was also one of the leading voices during the 2013 season demanding Sark's firing.
And since your reading comprehension completely sucks, go re-read my last comment regarding "UW being on track to be a major player in the PAC." Go read the last 3 points that I made that identified the lack of execution/details in the program and Sark's ability to take the program to the next level. -

I lost you at November. No way in Fuck Washington goes 4-5 next year.
6-3 is the fucking minimum. Anything below that and he's not who we thought he was.
I get puffing up at all the doogy off season natty talk, but it is and always has been LIPO to season 3.
Unless Saban and Chip are knocking (they're not), he's not getting fired this offseason.
Is it not still LIPO? Are we drawing lines in the sand already? -
NOGAF what I think, but I'll throw it out here anyway. I'll be absolutely SHOCKED! if UW wins fewer than 10 games in 2016.
-
Only way Washington goes 4-5 next year is if Browning gets hurt early in the year and the QB position development is total dreck. Even then the team should be able to mirror what Georgia did this year.

So you have Petersen losing to Stanford, @ Oregon, and @ WSU. What are the other two losses?
We all can speculate or create a variety of scenarios next year but it's difficult not to see the 2016 team going 6-3 in conference. The talent, experience, and depth are there while most Pac-12 teams need to rebuild / try to reload after a lot of good players have moved on.RaceBannon said:January 2016 - We closed the season strong. Some of us are even young enough to have never seen the light of a meaningful win; by now, it is nothing to us! Peterman looks like he's got things going well but until the fucking wins are there, I don't give a fuck about much else.
This year was wasted on shitty play calling and poor game management. I know a lot of you were pissed about the chart game last year but I wasn't. I appreciate the fact that Peterman goes into the game having already planned for that shit and he's not like Sark "feeling the emotion of the game" so I give him a pass for the chart. This year, he sucked cock against Cal, Stanford, Oregon and Utah as a coach. BSU was there for the taking and so was ASU. I don't expect him to every fucking game every fucking year but Christ, he screwed the pooch in each of those games. Blame Smiff for sucking but the buck stops with Peterman.
Win 10+ or get the fuck out in 2016. -
