All the other bowl games had dan the proction man from the local high school drag out his drop lights from his shop, a few speakers from his home stereo and a $100 radio shack budget for microphones to cover the games.
If you deaf and blind motherfuckers cant see the difference between ESPN's coverage of SEC teams and the rest, then I cant reason with yous.

SEC fans travel Puppy. Most Pac 12 fans don't. Plus I'm guessing they watch games and as we know, ESPN and CBS love to pump up that conference and that's been going on about 10 years now, possibly 15-20 if you count behind the scenes shady lobbying and backroom deals. The untrained eye gobbles it up and thinks they're still great because Alabama and Florida did some good things several years ago.
There are 5-6 games in real Texas (El Paso is an outpost that's more like Arizona and NM culturally), two in Loserana, one or two in Alabama, one in Georgia, and 7-8 in Floriduh, one or two in NC...so almost half the bowel games are in or near $uckEC territory.
I'm not really that jealous because LSU is in some bowl named after a damn bogus vitamin and protein shake pyramid scheme. Overall? Yes.
I think the Pac 12 would be well served to aggressively market to children, teens and millennial fags in the huge LA and SF/SJ/Oakland markets, maybe Phoenix and Sacramento as well...get them into football in a passionate way. It will pay dividends in the future. Of course they're probably more worried about how many volleyball and soccer games they showed in the past year. -

Points well taken Billy, good points. However, as Oregon showed recently, it takes 1 or 2 players from a state outside traditional pac12 grounds, to win this conference. (James had 2 players from the east coast who played vital roles in '91)
As far as pac12 fans not willing to travel? T h ats a Tom Hansen defeatest attitude and lame excuse. More fans would travel to south beach than el paso. I GUARANFUCKINGTEE you my firefighting buddy. -
