I found it funny he was a finalist for assistant of the year. Kent Baer put together somewhat decent defenses at SJSU. I think most of these disasters probably had more to do with the HC and talent rather than ability. Heater is still doing well for himself and Urb thinks he's a good coach. Denbrock is freaking recruiting coordinator at ND. He was a good coach. Trent Miles turned around Indiana State and is working on an extension at Georgia State as HC. Lappano sucked, especially vs who was available. Bob Simmons was the worst assistant coach I ever saw up close. It was amazing how terrible he was. Yet somehow he was a somewhat decent head man at Okie Lite. Gilby "stole" Jimmy Lake from Western and he's done OK for himself. Eric Yarber has no problem getting employment at good schools.

I can't decide between if Wilcox is a below average DC or if he never should have hitched himself to the agave soaked Sarkisian Express.
Or, in the name of abundance, it could be both.
