When I was stationed at Fort Meade my Skipper (0-6) bet the base CO (Army type 0-6) on the game. When Navy crushed them, as per usual, I got tasked to pick a work crew of JO's to go over and decorate the Colonel's entire front porch as if it were the Quarterdeck of a Destroyer, complete with blue carpet and shiny 16 inch gun shells. Ropes. The whole nine yards. My Skipper rolled up during the decoration festival with a mobile barbeque, promptly parked it on his front lawn, and we had a giant Go Navy Fuck Army cookout right there. One of the JO's put a blow up doll in fatigues and hung it from a tree. I fucking love Army Navy.
