PM to DeLarry (RIP?)
The book is interesting for any Husky fan still hurting from those lowly Willingham years. The writing isn't great, just ok. It has some interesting interviews with former players, university officials and members of the media. However, I would skip the last chapter and the epilogue. The last interview is with "Angry Alum" who is an unnamed poster on UW football message boards. Who cares? I'm convinced "Angry Alum" is the writer himself. Also, the end of the book becomes a diatribe about Obama. It soured the book for me. It felt like the whole book was a set up just for the author to express his political views.

Calling himself "Angry" Alum is a micro aggression against himself and all Blacks.
White people are passionate or intense. Blacks get called angry and then are shot by cops raised with the stereotype of the out of control angry Black man

I texted Larry a few months ago. He isn't in the PNW anymore, but he's doing well and keeps his finger on the pulse of all things HCH/HHB.
He's a good guy (not like "Kim is a good guy", but actually a good guy), and his perspective (even tho fuck perspective) here is missed. -

Larry was always a natural poster. Words just came to him. He needed to spend more time watching film on posting and he had bad practice habits but come game day he just would start posting away and nobody could catch him.
Always had a bit of an attitude. You wouldn't want him to marry your daughter but you do want him on your posting team -
