Washington State receiver Gabe Marks was ready to enter the draft then suffered a significant ankle injury during the season finale against Washington. Sources tell me it could take several months for the ankle to fully recover and there’s a chance Marks would not be ready to workout prior to the draft. As a result he’s expected to return to Wazzu for his senior season.

If he was already planning on going to the NFL he won't make it to next year. He's been suspended a couple of times already I think and I'm sure he loves school a lot. He'll either find a way to enter the draft or he'll not do school and be ineligible.

I was under the impression he was so small and fragile, that his prospects weren't outstanding. But what do I know, someone told me scouts had been pegging Jordan Simone in the 1st-early 2nd round as a safety, so I'm out of touch.

The Walter Camp website (yes, the Walter Camp website is my source!) doesn't list Marks in their WR rankings for the either 2016 (36 total players) or the 2017 (23 total players) draft prospects.

And CBS Sports has him as the 168th overall prospect which equates to the 5th round.
