Alabama had to play USC, Stanford, Oklahoma, Clemson, Iowa or Sparty for their conference championship (Instead of Florida)? They would be going to the playoffs thats what.
Must be nice to face the worse division in football every year. (Sec east) and win the 3rd worst division in football next to Big10 Iowa (SEC west).

You are right, they would still be going to the playoffs.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Alabama had to play USC, Stanford, Oklahoma, Clemson, Iowa or Sparty for their conference championship (Instead of Florida)? They would be going to the playoffs thats what.

I want to see some crazy bullshit happen and hope Florida and North Carolina win.
This is why WE watch college football, to grab the torches and pitchforks in early december and burn down the establishment for fucking up OUR national title game.
Watch Puppy go ballistic when UNC is left out over Bama (and tOSU for that matter) after beating the number 1 team in the country for their 12th win in a row and an ACC championship. -
King of the Doogs with his daily bashing of winners.

Doogles knows a lot about football for a big-titted blonde

I think having to play 6 teams to win a conference title is a little unfair even for Bama
Bama would be favored over all those teams. Michigan State would scare me, the rest would not. Actually Oklahoma would scare me as well as they may be this year's Ohio State and Stoops was raised in the SEC and does well against them.
Imagine if Bama was like Oklahoma and didn't even have to play a conference championship game. The wheels would come off puppy -
Now that you have to earn it on the field instead of being just voted into the national championship the SEC won't win one for a while.
They are a good team no doubt but the free pass is over -
There were some questionable cases with 1-loss Pete Carroll teams not getting to play for the title because of bias that bothered me.
The one that actually irked me was the rematch game. That was pretty fucking bad. It would be like tOSU beating Bama on the field in the semis last year and then playing them again to prove they are the champs. Of course Saban won the rematch with the month of prep, but that isn't the point. We saw the two teams play on the field in their latest game and one won and one lost. Case closed, next option.
Oklahoma State shouldn't have choked to Iowa St., but I'd rather see a fresh challenge against an uncommon foe to decide who the national champ is. They beat a damn good Stanford team in their bowl too. -
You always had to earn it on the field and it is still a vote that gets you inHuskyJW said:Now that you have to earn it on the field instead of being just voted into the national championship the SEC won't win one for a while.
