Validation of the Iron Laws

From the ESPN blog discussing the USC situation and how the Trojans will inevitably rise again:

"Because the right coach at USC competes for national titles on a regular basis. The tradition is there. The facilities, once below standard, are vastly improved. The rich recruiting territory is there. And the ability to ante up big checks for an A-list coach and his staff is there."

Tradition
Location
$$$

The Iron Laws for consistent success in college football.

Of, course you need a good coach to take advantage of these resources, but you can't win big and win consistently without them.

Chip Kelly had money at Oregon and nothing else.

Your Iron Laws are more fucktarded now than ever before.
Would the Oregon Cheerleaders count for location?

Oregon does seem to defy the ILs. I think they have expanded their territory (location) because the mighty - USC, UCLA, Washington - have fallen.

If USC, UCLA and Washington had had programs operating at their historic norms the past 10 years, LA kids would not be choosing Eugene Oregon.

Bullshit. The trends have changed and Oregon is the new trendsetter.

There's a reason why Washington is trying to be like Oregon now instead of trying to be like USC or like the WASHINGTON (RIP) that we remember.

So why isn't USC food right now? What breaks iron laws?
