Clay Helton is going to be successful for 2 or 3 years based on the @RaceBannon rule.

He is a hungry coach in the land of make believe.

He has ultimate resources at his finger tips and unlike Kiffin and Sark he is going to work his ass off to prove himself.

I think there is a good chance he beats Stanford.

But ... like the boys in blue ... he'll exceed expectations ... get a nice fat extension ... and then the hard work will slow down.

    Pete was an NFL coach twice. He had something to fall back on. If this guy sucks by year four at USC he is fucked.

    If you suck at the the easy job you will really suck at the harder ones.

    I meant coaching career wise. Yes, to the $15 an hour crowd that seems like the holy grail, but it's not.

    For instance Chip was making $3.5 at Oregon. He makes like $7 now.
