When you call 40+ more pass plays per game than running plays, your QB getting hurt is not bad luck, it's baked into your offensive philosophy. The only fluky thing about Falk missing time is that it didn't happen sooner.
Calling that many passing plays without having a backup QB is Mike Leach FS.
In conclusion, Leach still sucks.

Talking about this earlier. Wsu has not had a qb finish a season in a while. 6-7 years besides the one halliday bowl season.
Under leach, tuel went down and halliday played, halliday went down and Falk played, and now falk to bender. Rail thin qbs and lots of hits. -
