As I said last week, the best sign of progress he's made this year is protecting the football. -
I thought we agreed that Locker is qualified to be a starting QB but not good enough to lead you to the playoffs?
Can you ever see Locker being a top 10 QB at any point in his career?
He won't be a bust but I'm still not sure if he'll ever be good. -
I'm already looking forward to betting against Munchak and Lockner on the road during Wild Card weekend.He_Needs_More_Time said:I thought we agreed that Locker is qualified to be a starting QB but not good enough to lead you to the playoffs?

What if they are playing Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton or Alex Smith and Andy Reid?TierbsHsotBoobs said:

I'd pass on TEN @ CIN. I'd load up on KC against TEN...but it's the Ryan Fitzpatrick era in Nashville now.He_Needs_More_Time said:

Comprehensive list of AFC teams that matter:
Denver

Also, there are 3 other undefeated teams in the AFC right now. -

Miami and KC are pretenders.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

The Pats? I never count them out although they haven't looked good. -
Those pretenders could knock Denver out just like Baltimore did last year.He_Needs_More_Time said:

Not disagreeing at all. As a Seahawks fan I hope someone upsets the Broncos as they are the only team I think who could beat the Hawks on a neutral field.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Yes I'm already crowning the Seahawks ass so what. -
Quality job of moving the bar once again.He_Needs_More_Time said:I thought we agreed that Locker is qualified to be a starting QB but not good enough to lead you to the playoffs?

1st he wasn't even a top 32 QB because there were back ups better than him,
2nd he wasn't a top 25 QB, more in the range of 28-32.
Now he isn't a top 10 QB at this point in his career.
Next week? He's not a top 8 QB because he is injury prone.
Quality moving the bar as always. -
I was never on the "Move Locker to Safety he's not an NFL QB" bandwagon.Zaggot said:

I'd put him in the T-Jack tier of below average starting QB/good backup QB.
He still hasn't ranked in the top 15 in completion %, QB rating, passing yards, passing TD's or YPA. -
Last week he didn't rank in the top 25 of those categories when you stated his numbers. You conveniently leave out TD/Int ratio, etc. Keep moving the bar.He_Needs_More_Time said:

Jake is/was a starter in the NFL not sure why you fuckers are so hell bent to diminish his accomplishment. I know being a starter on a bad team is like getting a participation award......says the fucker that's never been the top 32 in the world in any fucking thing......except maybe typing with one hand while jacking off to pictures of Fatters. -
Zaggot, its because not one fuck on this board put his flute down long enough during the day to understand the game. Now these fucks just expect 1991 beatdowns every week.
-
Manning has been in the league over 15 years and is still looking for his first win in sub 40 temperature.
The Field will win the AFC. -
Pats are 4-0 without Veeran, Gronk, or Amadola.
This was a big win for the Pats. -
He should have played baseball
-
If he had made the switch to safety, injuries like the one today never would happen. But no, both he and Tim Tebow are convinced they are NFL quarterbacks.
-
Locker may not be great, but he's an NFL QB. To argue otherwise is FS. He wouldn't have gotten drafted at #8 at any other position. QB's make the most money. He made the right call.MelloDawg said:If he had made the switch to safety, injuries like the one today never would happen. But no, both he and Tim Tebow are convinced they are NFL quarterbacks.

He's proven he isn't a Tebow. At the very worst Jake can be a backup QB/spot starter. Tebow can't even start in the CFL. -

Well, at this point of the season he is the #5 rated QB in the NFL. -
Comparing Locker to Tebow is as FS as comparing him to Elway.MelloDawg said:If he had made the switch to safety, injuries like the one today never would happen. But no, both he and Tim Tebow are convinced they are NFL quarterbacks.

The season is over for Lockner

Totally disagree. He tried to make one tackle last year and ripped his shoulder to shreds.MelloDawg said:If he had made the switch to safety, injuries like the one today never would happen. But no, both he and Tim Tebow are convinced they are NFL quarterbacks.
