I wouldn't assume anything when it comes to the UW athletic department. A few years ago I wrote a historical essay on Husky football for Historylink.org, spanning over 100 years. Nothing inflammatory, worked very hard on it. It was a credit to the program. It was a volunteer article for which I was paid nothing.Swaye said:

I used some standard photos that UW had let me use for prior player features, as long as i credited UW media relations.
UW contacted Historylink.org and ordered them to take down the photos. The only reason was because they were angry over criticism I had made over Willingham, Sark and Emmert via Dawgman.com.
Some people there at UW can be very petty. -
