I will put my name to the UW has a shot to win the north next year. I am expecting at least 9 wins next year. If not.......... I'll probably move on from drinking coke to drinking actual alcohol and dying a slow, yet steady, drunken death.

We better win the North. The easy non-con is a joke and leaves no excuses. Fine tune during the scrimmages and then play for it all in Eugene. Stanford comes to the house of horrors formerly known as Husky Stadium.

It's set up perfectly if he is the savior.

If we have another 6 minute drive down 2 scores in the 4th, burning a timeout, punting inside the 40 on 4th and 1, not going for two to turn a 3 possession game into 2 possessions in the 4th, fumble the rock when all we need is to take a knee, not call a timeout to give yourself time to return the favor in case they make the fg, Go for a fake punt on 4th and 9 with Gaskin randomly inserted as the up back (hmm i wonder what we're going to do here) Put Ki-jana carter in over Lindquist when all you need are bombs to make a comeback and watch him shit himself into a pick, generally fall short to all the hard realities of playing good football, then it's not going to matter.

9 wins is a 6-3 conference record with the pussy ass non con schedule. So it takes Petermen 3 years to win one more conference game than Sark?

We're real close, but it's hard.

    Cool "later guys" thread

Don't jump back on the bandwagon when UW wins the North next year

    In what alternate reality?
UW returns everyone worth anything besides Perkins and Tupou, who are replaceable. Another offseason of natties and roids and this team should win a minimum of 10 games. We lose -2 Wins Mickens and gain 2 Wins Ross, so that's a 4 game swing right there.

Our worst enemy will be the offensive playcalling. This is also the factor that worries me the most. If that gets fixed, look out. If it doesn't get fixed, fire Petersen.

Furd loses a lot of experienced players. Hogan, Garnett, Rector to name a few. They will still be tuff and have Vanilla Ice back at RB. UW should be able to best them at home.

Oregon loses Adams, Carrington, will start a loser at QB, 4th year of Helfrich regression . An experienced UW squad should win this on the road but will probably lose.

Oregon State sucks, Cal sucks and will suck even worse when savior Jared Goff goes to the NFL.

    The south sucks.

At Wazzu will probably be the toughest game on the Doog schedule, at least on paper. Coogs don't really lose anyone, maybe Marks? The Apple Cup could determine the North winner, in which case the Cuogs will piss themselves since they have something to play for.

    FFS.

Carrington is a soph. They get back Pharoah Brown who was 1st team Pac-12 TE in 2014, Byron Marshall looks like he'll get his waiver if he wants it. The QB Jonsen is gonna be a star.

Your King County All Stars will get it dry and bleed again again in Eugene.

    Doog on.

You guys are due for a shitty QB

    Also Helfrich sucks

    diaf
I personally don't thing Slingblade is a very good coach, but that fucker is smart.

Next year the Ducks will have Mahalak, Waller, Lockie, and three freshman competing for the spot. One of them will be able to run the football and throw against single coverage.

Next year the Ducks have Freeman, Tyner, Carrington, Brown, Stanford, Griffin, and Marshall if he wants to play another year. The secondary will be better.

This was always the down year for Oregon, the way it started was unacceptable, but they are getting it back to where is was supposed to be.

UW will be completely out of the picture by November next year.

The North will be wide open next year...what the Duck failed to mention is their lines, which will probably suck right along with their defense. Adams saved Helfrich's job as they'd go 4-8 if he didn't return from injury.

Stanford, UO, UW and WSU will all get first place votes next year. It will be scattered.

The North will be decided in the Apple Cup next year.

The North won't be wide open just as it never has been.

Oregon will have the most talent, Stanford will be the most consistent, WAZZU will be the outside chaser from now on like they were in the 90's, Cal will be shit, UW will win the off-season Natty but still suck when it counts, and the Beavs will get moved to the MWAC.

Oregon or Stanford will win the North every year from now until you're dead from old age.

Oregon is going back to Bellotti 5-8 win times buddy. Get ready.
North is open. It's up to Petersen to do something about that.

What difference does it make? Feeney. Shaq. Shelton. Peters. Sankey. Polk. ASJ. Jake Lockner. Wait for Ivan, Wait for Sark. Peterman building his program. Words of the weak and words of those holding on to jobs: Mired in mediocrity.

It's like the book From Good to Great.Getting over the hump IS HARD. We can't even get beyond mildly shitty. The song remains the same

It's all about ur QB. When you have to break in a new one that's only been in the program a year or even worse is a true frosh, you will struggle. Rosen would be the major outlier but even He has struggled against good Dees. In the PAC 12 having a good consistent offense that can put up 40 every week is better than having a top grade Defense. Of course the only 2 that will return with experience are the Washington schools. Neither Andrew Luck nor Marcus Mariota are coming in next year. It's not a stretch that the AC could determine a North bid directly or indirectly in what shapes up to be a special Season. Stanford will be the favorite for the lazy fucks that do preseason prognostications though

Sounds like next year maybe could might be if you really think about it maybe could be pretty special.

Here is the real assessment for next year.

Stanford: They will use the shit out of McCaffrey, who will be a preseason All American. Unlike UW, they play to their strengths. TE's all return. They do the best job of developing OL in the Pac 12. Their defense should be better next year. This year is their worst season on defense in recent memory. They have been consistently good for awhile. They are well coached, they recruit well, they develop their players. The likely favorite.

Oregon: Best skill talent in the league. Freeman is one of the best RB's in the country. Defense likely won't be good, but they can't get much worse. The game will be at Oregon. QB is a question mark. Helfrich is a moron, but so are most the coaches in the Pac 12.

UW: Best defense in the conference. Tons of questions on offense.

WSU: Falk is actually good, but they are still the Cuogs. Not a real threat, but they are better than I thought, especially after losing to Portland State.

    Oregon State: Terrible

Cal: Will suck without Goff. They are probably better than Oregon State, but placing them anywhere but last would feel wrong.

Okie Lite has only been a relatively strong program in football in the last 30 years at various points in time ... they have and will be a player going forward simply because of T Boone's money and willpower.

Looking at history with them and Oklahoma is probably as fucktarded as citing Oregon's record against anybody before 1994.

When you win at a 18% rate the last 30 years suck too. Hope this helps.

WSU wins 33% of the Apple Cups
WSU is playing a much easier team in their rivalry game -- so it would only follow that they'd have a higher win %.

Oh, and Okie State beat UW last year, while WSU lost to them last year.

Slingblade is about to end year three with 9 or 10 wins. Bellotti is gone. Slingblade isn't Chip, but he's better than Bellotti.

The North won't be open. UW is the same recycled shit they always are. Next year they will be something that makes them get ass raped by Oregon and Stanford. Peterman's vagina will make them lose another one that they shouldn't. Right there is three conference losses, so zero chance you win the North with that.

It's probably depressing as fuck being a Doog fan but UW isn't going to be anywhere near any sort of regular season accolades next year.

Not as depressing as being a dumbfuck on your rivals board, that you've beaten 12 times.
