    I sorta gave a fuck ...

Baylor is Baylor ... probably saw the closest thing to their real ability last night.

Watch over the next month as their offense turns into throw it deep and pray when they don't hold the athletic advantage.

It wouldn't surprise me if Oklahoma beat them next week

So when they play a true freshman QB after their main guy that put up 60 a week is hurt it shows their true ability as they win on the road in a place where TCU got worked over and had to escape with their Heisman candidate senior QB?

    Got it.

It wouldn't surprise me if OU wins out

This does kind of show how Browning sucks.

That was my thought while watching. I can see one of these guys playing in the NFL, and it ain't Browning.

Teams and systems are all different ... what Baylor does is great for college QBs. For as good as Briles has been offensively with the QB position in the college game, it hasn't translated to the NFL level yet. And yes, I get the "who gives a shit about the NFL talk" ... but it's why I have said for a while that Baylor is great when they can out athlete you but when the athlete advantage is similar they tend to fold up the tent.

As for Baylor/TCU vs KState, it's one of the reasons why you have to be careful of looking at box scores and playing the Team A beat Team B who beat Team C ...

KState threw the kitchen sink at TCU in that game. After losing early in the season to Okie Lite, the TCU game was a bit of their Alamo. They really haven't been right since that game ... the Baylor game may be the closest they've been to being back to KState since then.

Stidham was a 5-star top 3 QB last year. He looked great in the proven system with the exceptional athletes, but more importantly he looked physically ready to play at this level.

The difference between a true 5 star guy and a high 4 star like Browning is usually the physical capabilities right out. No question Stidham looks ready to play while Browning looks 15-20 lbs light.

Still hard to translate how any QB would do at Washington (especially early on with the OL being horrible in pass protection) when the Babushka system has done nothing to help them out.

I'm a casual Browning fan. He has some ability, but I'm skeptical because 1) he plays in a shitty offense and 2) he's not very physically talented.

Browning could be good one day, but he's limited. The kid on Baylor's talent stands out. The system helps, but if offered a swap, it's an easy call on who we would all take.

Stidham looks to be a stud, no doubt about it. Keep in mind, though, he's playing behind an OL that goes RSSr, RSSr, RSJr, RSSr, RSSr. Going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing they do a better job of protecting the QB than UW's OL. And that protection may affect results on the field.
