Holocaust survivors file a lawsuit against the Bush family for role in WWII as Nazi supporters

The suit was filed after new secret documents were uncovered as a result of the freedom of information act. Fritz Bush was a major Nazi.

I'm surprised that race is surprised.
-
I have to imagine the suit will get tossed. Being on a board 70+ years ago hardly had the same requirements as today. Before Enron, WorldCom, and Sabanes Oxley, being on a board didn't demand nearly as much involvement.

NOGAF.

I'm not surprised hondo thinks it means anything

Let me guess... Reddit or 4chan is your source?

I'm sure this will prevent companies from war profiteering in the future.

What's funny is that 3 days later, still nobody realizes that "Fritz Bush" is a name I made up.
-
It still probably has more to do with the gaf factor. Or the lack of any.

it sounded suspicious, but nobody cared enough to look it up obviouslyOZONE said:What's funny is that 3 days later, still nobody realizes that "Fritz Bush" is a name I made up.

lots of people were Nazi's in the 1930's and had no idea the holocaust was looming ahead. Nobody cares if blah blah's great grandfather was a nazi.
-
I think you're on to something.
Keep digging. -

I agree that most don't care, but the media always digs up dirt and a few are outraged.
I talked to a Jewish guy a few years ago and he said his grandmother refused to buy anything made in Germany or from a German company. He said she threw something made in Germany in a fire or something. She probably refuses to ride in Volkswagens, Audis, Beemers etc. too.

My point was that the Nazis were a political party and were widespread HERE in the USA. There was Nazi youth camps from coast to coast. Lots of people were interested in the Nazi party until of course Hitler showed his true colors and went batshit crazy.

This is New York City 1939, parade by the German American Bund.

Just like Obama is ready to do. Can't wait until he turns into a ruthless dictator that I've heard are his true colors.PurpleReign said:My point was that the Nazis were a political party and were widespread HERE in the USA. The American Nazi supporters knew damn well of the anti-semitic views of Germany and openly supported them. They were protested by Jews from the start.
Eugenics had a lot of roots in America, particularly California, where we also sought to create a master race as early as the late 1800s. -
I never said they weren't anti-jew. I said they had a much bigger following here in the states than people now days realize.
-
Germans had been talking about exterminating the Jews well before Hitler took power. HTH.PurpleReign said:I never said they weren't anti-jew. I said they had a much bigger following here in the states than people now days realize.

Read a history book. It goes all the way back to before the plague, especially in Germany and Central Europe. Hitler just introduced the idea of a "master race" into the equation, because of the popularity of the eugenics movement (which began as a result of Darwin's work). They've been hating/killing Jews for at least a thousand years. Anyone in the German-American Bund knew about this.PurpleReign said:

"Hating jews" and "exterminating jews" are two completely different things. The Jews have been hated and tossed out of lots of places over the centuries, but that doesn't mean everyone over that time wanted to "exterminate the jews". Give me a break.PurpleJ said:

I am Pro-Israel by the way, but that doesn't mean I can't see through Jewish propaganda. -

Did I say "everyone"? Didn't think so. And yes, people did talk about exterminating the Jews well before Hitler and will again someday. Read a history book.PurpleReign said:

And for the record, I will acknowledge the Jewish propaganda machine. People act like the Jews are the only group of people that were murdered en masse during WW2... -
I thought Jews were the only group of people ever targeted by any leader or cuntry in the history of mankind. I'm shaking and about to vomit.PurpleJ said:
